Board of Directors

Rob is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors and a graduate of Lincoln University, holding an M.Com (hons)- (Marketing) and a B.Com (Ag) (Economics).

Rob farms 10,000 sheep and beef stock units on a carbon negative breeding/finishing and forestry farm of 1020ha in Manuka Gorge, South Otago.

Rob is the Chair of Farmlands Co-operative Society Limited, New Zealand Woolscours Limited (Woolworks), NZX-listed Cavalier Bremworth (BRW), Fern Energy Limited, Hilton Haulage Limited, Rewiring Aotearoa and Pioneer Energy Limited, as well as a Director of NZX-listed T&G Global Limited (TRG) and Woolcorp Limited. 

Rob won the Deloitte Top 200 Chair of the Year award in 2023, and the Co-operative Business New Zealand Outstanding Contribution Award in 2019.

Andy is passionate about production, processing, delivery and presentation of food and its co-products to customers.

Andy, with wife Tricia, farm irrigated land in Mid Canterbury, focused mainly on dairy, and their son Tom and his family specialise in deer, sheep and beef on South Canterbury hill country. His on-farm interests include sustainable use of water and achieving high productivity with a low environmental footprint.

He has a long-term commitment to integrating science and education with adoption strategies to help build businesses with values that enhance the NZ Brand.

Andy is a current director of ANZCO, Ashburton Lyndhurst Irrigation Ltd and chairs the SFFF Plantain project, Edgewater Resort Hotel Ltd and a number of private companies. He has chaired the New Zealand Institute of Primary Industry Management and Deer Industry NZ and is a former director of Fonterra. He has served as a director of AgResearch, Ngāi Tahu Farming, spent 12 years as a councillor of Lincoln University, and co-founded Macfarlane Rural Business Limited.

Greg has over 30 years’ experience in the R&D sector as a researcher and director on Boards and sector bodies, including the agriculture sector.

He has a strong understanding of the research science and innovation system and the process from knowledge creation to commercialisation. He is solutions focused with an emphasis on the need to engage with different stakeholders and work with all parties. Greg is currently the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Auckland Uniservices Ltd.

Jessie has an honours degree in animal science and has worked in a range of primary sector management positions including MAF, Federated Farmers and Meat and Wool NZ. Jessie also owned and co-managed a dairy farming business in mid-Canterbury and is now an equity partner in a dairy farm.

She is currently a director of NZPork and Pharmazen, and Independent Chair of Cranley Farms. Jessie has previously served on the board of RuralCo, Ngai Tahu Farming, Alpine Energy, Meat the Need, Bioprotection Aotearoa, and was a member of the Fonterra Shareholders Council. Jessie was awarded a Member of the NZ Order of Merit in 2022 for services to dairy and agriculture. She also received the Women in Governance Award for Inspiring Governance Leader in 2021, and Dairy Woman of the Year in 2017.

Murray has 30 years of agribusiness, energy, technology and international trade experience.

Murray’s career started with Reid Farmers in Dunedin as a stock and station agent, has included executive and director roles in commodity trading markets across agri, emissions and energy where he has worked in the UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.

Murray is an active investor in agritech and start-up technology businesses and is an Independent Director of Bremworth Limited. Murray has a BCom from Lincoln University. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, a graduate of the Kellogg Rural Leaders Program and completed an MIT Sloan Management Executive program on AI.

Sir Neville has extensive understanding of the primary sector, having held a number of governance and executive roles in the industry over many years.

He has wide experience in public, government, and private settings, proven financial and commercial acumen both in New Zealand and overseas public and private institutions. This includes start up and investment decision-making. Sir Neville is well respected and holds considerable mana across private and public environments.

Simon brings extensive leadership experience across New Zealand’s primary industries and takes pride in showcasing premium New Zealand brands to the world.

Simon is the Chief Executive Officer of Indevin Group, New Zealand’s leading producer of high-quality wine and the home of Villa Maria. Prior to this he was CEO of Silver Fern Farms, New Zealand’s largest meat exporter and spent a decade with Zespri, where he held a variety of roles producing and marketing kiwifruit internationally.
