We were pleased to host Minister Willis and Minister Reti at an event on-farm in Canterbury to explore emissions mitigation technology in action.
Economic Growth Minister Hon Nicola Willis and Science, Innovation and Technology Minister Hon Dr Shane Reti announced our investment in Āmua and provided an update on the ‘Innovation, Technology and Science’ pillar of its Going For Growth work programme.
The event, on a Canterbury dairy farm, provided the ministers an opportunity to learn more about Āmua’s cow wearable device and see first-hand another emissions mitigation technology - EcoPond, that can reduce methane from effluent ponds by over 90%.
Two great examples of the work happening here in New Zealand to help farmers reduce emissions and drive economic growth.
