We met with our Farmer Focus Group and heard practical, honest, and focused feedback on what it will take to make new emissions reduction tools work on-farm.
The meetings are always a highlight for our team as we get to hear directly from farmers about the tools we're investing in and what matters most to them when it comes to reducing emissions.
Our latest meeting included:
Q&A with companies from our investment portfolio developing inhibitors and probiotics - Bovotica, Rumin8 and Zoetis (regarding its involvement in the NZ methane inhibitors programme).
Discussion with two of our investors - Fonterra and Silver Fern Farms - about why and how they're supporting farmers to reduce emissions.
The different pathways that farmers could get rewarded for efforts they make to reduce emisisons.
