It provides first-hand insights into our farming systems, regulatory environment and value chain, while strengthening relationships with the people who will play a role in bringing their tools to market.
Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting Dr Arvind Kumar from BiomEdit.
Our regulatory strategy manager, Rachelle Linwood took on the role of tour guide, introducing Arvind to a range of people from across New Zealand's agricultural ecosystem, from regulators and researchers through to processors, feed manufacturers and, most importantly, farmers.
The visit provided an opportunity to explore the New Zealand context for BiomEdit's probiotic-based feed additive, which could help Kiwi farmers reduce emissions from their livestock while also improving productivity.
