An appointed body of farmers who help us ensure emissions mitigation tools are fit-for-purpose.
Our ambition is to ensure all farmers in Aotearoa New Zealand have equitable access to affordable, effective solutions to reduce emissions.
One of the ways we’re helping to ensure the tools we’re investing in are fit-for-purpose and practical for Kiwi farmers, is through feedback from our Farmer Focus Group.
The group is made up of farmers from diverse backgrounds who provide us with their views and feedback regarding implementation of emissions mitigation tools across the different livestock systems in New Zealand.
We're looking for new members to join the group, to ensure it reflects the diversity of New Zealand's livestock farming businesses.
The areas we're wanting to strengthen representation include:
deer farming
early-career dairy farming
Māori agribusiness and livestock farming perspectives
large-scale, multi-property corporate
extensive, breeding-focused sheep and/or beef farming
If you’re passionate about the future of New Zealand’s agricultural sector, and want to be part of the journey, register your interest by Friday 19 June.
We'll then be in touch with more details.
