A summary of our progress to get emissions reduction tools into farmers' hands, as at 30 June 2026.
We’ve now committed $80.4m across 21 ventures, research projects and trials. This includes recent investments in:
Tnue (Total Nutrient Use Efficiency): Trial to test the nitrous oxide reduction potential of this New Zealand company’s controlled-release nitrogen fertiliser.
Two Innovation Investment Round recipients (in partnership with the Ag Emissions Centre):
Altraea, US-based startup: developing a microalgae-based feed additive.
Bioeconomy Science Institute: developing methane-reducing proteins that would get added to livestock feed.
